Give the engine four things: the names (with phonetic spellings if needed), the story in two or three concrete moments, the promise you want the chorus to make, and the sound — usually acoustic, piano, soft strings or a gentle soul groove, and the word “timeless” if you want it to age well. Avoid “epic”, “cinematic” and heavy drums for a first dance; those make songs you cannot slow-dance to.

Instrumental: ask for “instrumental” in the prompt or switch vocals off, and you get the arrangement without a singer — useful for the entrance, the signing and the dinner. Length: songs come out around two to three minutes; if you need the dance to run longer, use the extend tool from any second of the track. Files: download the MP3 from your library and send it to the DJ or the venue a week early with a note on where to start and fade; a share link works for the couple’s families.
