What Octa costs, and what it does not.
Octa is free to download and free to listen to. Making a song is not free: every track is composed, sung, mixed and mastered for you, and that costs us real compute each time. So creating needs a plan or a one-time pack. This page lists every price, what each one gets you, and everything you can do without paying.
01The short version
Two lists. The first costs nothing. The second needs a plan or a pack.

02Plans and the song pack
US dollar prices. A “song” is one finished track with vocals, mix, master and cover art.
| Plan | Price | What you get | Per song |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekly | $2.99 a week | 15 songs | about 20¢ |
| Basic | $6.99 a month | 50 songs | about 14¢ |
| Standard | $9.99 a month | 100 songs and 20 stem splits | about 10¢ |
| Premium | $19.99 a month | 160 songs and 60 stem splits | about 12¢ |
| Song pack | $2.99 one time | 15 songs, no renewal | about 20¢ |
Yearly plans are available too, from $59.99 a year. The app shows the exact yearly price for each plan before you confirm.
03How songs are counted
- One track is one song from your balance. A new generation, a cover and an extension each count as one.
- Your plan is used first, then your packs. If you have both, the plan's songs go first and the pack waits.
- A failed song costs nothing. If a generation fails on our side, it goes back on your balance automatically.
- A blocked cover costs nothing. Covers are screened against protected recordings before delivery. If yours is blocked, it goes back on your balance.
- Your balance is always visible: at the top of the web studio and in the app.
04Which one to pick
- One song for one person (a birthday, an anniversary, a roast): the song pack. Fifteen songs is the song plus plenty of retakes, and nothing renews.
- A week of trying things: Weekly. Same price as the pack, but it renews every week, so cancel if you only wanted the week.
- You make songs most weeks: Basic. Fifty songs a month is more than one a day.
- You want the parts, not just the song: Standard. The 20 stem splits are what you need to remix, sing over the instrumental or cut a clean vocal.
- You post often or run a channel: Premium, for the 160 songs and 60 stem splits.

05Paying and cancelling
Plans and packs are bought in the Android app through Google Play, in your own currency. Your plan belongs to your account, not to your phone: sign in with the same account in the web studio and the same balance is there.
To cancel, open Google Play, go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, choose Octa and cancel. The plan keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for.
