Octaverum: the studio behind Octa.

Octaverum is the company and the website; Octa is the product. Octa is an AI music generator: you type a sentence — or paste your own lyrics — and the engine composes the track, writes and sings the words, mixes and masters the result and paints 4K cover art, in about a minute. It runs as an Android app and as a browser studio that share one account and one library.

The studio also builds the models around the product: the Octa-Initium generation pipeline and OctaTune, our in-house family of vocal pitch-correction models trained on licensed datasets. Both are documented in the model card, including what they cannot do.

One sentence in. A finished record out. That is the whole company in a line.

Octaverum is a coinage: octave, the musical interval, joined to verum, Latin for “true”. Say it ok-ta-VEH-rum. We use “Octaverum” for the company and the site, and “Octa” for the app and the engine.

Search engines sometimes correct the spelling to a similar-sounding word. The spelling that finds us is Octaverum, with an e — or simply Octa AI — at octaverum.com.

We publish the same figures we show investors, counted on authenticated accounts only (internal and test accounts excluded):

• 2,691 songs generated since the March 2026 relaunch; 1,309 of them in August, up 90% month over month.
• 99.8% of generations complete; the rest are refunded automatically.
• Half of new users finish their first song within 3.5 minutes of signing up.
• 4.4 out of 5 on Google Play from 70 ratings, with more than 1,000 downloads.
• 29 production releases since March; the app ships roughly weekly.

Octaverum was founded in 2025 by Salih Acun and is based in Istanbul, Türkiye, with a fully remote team of six that works on the product every day. The company has been funded by its founder to date and is raising its first outside round in 2026.

What we care about is easy to state: songs people actually keep, real sung vocals rather than loops, honest limits (we say what the engine cannot do), and refunds when a generation fails. Covers of protected recordings are blocked at the fingerprint stage and the credit is returned.
