Lyrics

Verse 1
Tires spinning on the gravel road
Carrying a heavy jagged load
Smoke rising from the broken grill
Fire climbing up the jagged hill

Chorus
Leave the iron in the dirt today
Wash the ashes and the dust away
No surrender and no retreat
Standing solid on my own two feet

Verse 2
Engine screaming in the dead of night
Blinded by the yellow headlight
Clenched fist pounding on the wheel
Bending down to the pressure of steel

Chorus
Leave the iron in the dirt today
Wash the ashes and the dust away
No surrender and no retreat
Standing solid on my own two feet

Bridge
Sparks will fly into the blackened air
Nothing left that can bring despair
Hear the roar shake the canyon wall
Ready now for the curtain call

Chorus
Leave the iron in the dirt today
Wash the ashes and the dust away
No surrender and no retreat
Standing solid on my own two feet

About this track

How this rock song was made.

“Iron in the Dirt” is an AI-generated Rock song with vocals, 3:39 long. It was created in Octa from one short text description: the lyrics, melody, vocal performance, arrangement and mix were all generated from that idea, then published by @Chris Grigsby to the Octa community in October 2026.

Guitars are stacked left and right, the drums feel played rather than programmed, and the energy builds from verse to chorus the way a live band pushes it. The lyrics on this page are the exact words the AI wrote and sang for this track.
