AI Rap & Hip-Hop songs

Hip-hop is the one genre where the words carry the song, so the production leaves room for them. Boom-bap keeps a dusty, slightly behind-the-beat drum loop around 85–95 BPM with a sampled chop on top; modern rap leans on sparser drums, a single melodic motif and space for ad-libs. Either way the vocal sits loud and dry in the middle of the mix while the instruments are pushed to the sides.

This is the mode where writing your own lyrics pays off most. Paste your verses into the lyrics box and Octa performs them — with [Verse] and [Hook] tags it will build the arrangement around your structure. Tell it the era you want (“90s boom-bap”, “modern melodic rap”) and the delivery (“laid-back flow”, “fast double-time”); those two words change more than any other part of the prompt.

Prompts that work for AI rap & hip-hop

• 90s boom-bap with dusty piano sample, vinyl crackle, laid-back flow
• modern melodic rap about leaving your hometown, warm keys, airy hook
• hard east coast hip-hop, chopped soul sample, punchy snare, 92 BPM
• double-time rap over a jazzy loop with upright bass and brushed drums
• storytelling rap, cinematic strings, no hook, one long verse

Paste any of these into the web studio or the Android app — then change one detail and run it again.
