How this rap & hip-hop track was made.
“Rain” is an AI-generated Rap & Hip-Hop instrumental, 2:44 long. It was created in Octa from one short text description: the arrangement, instruments, mix and cover art were all generated from that idea, then published by @jonystarmsando1 to the Octa community in October 2026.
The vocal sits right on top of the beat and the words do the work; notice how the hook comes back word for word so it sticks after one listen.
The prompt behind it
“lo-fi hip hop, lo-fi study beats, soft felt piano melody, mellow jazzy chord voicings, dusty drum break with swung hi-hats, gentle vinyl crackle, rain ambience with distant thunder, warm tape saturation, relaxed laid-back groove, instrumental, no, cozy nostalgic calm mood, lush reverb, muffled warm low end, intimate close-mic piano, soft analog mix, 82 BPM”
