Postcards in the Lining
How this acoustic & ballad track was made.
“Postcards in the Lining” is an AI-generated Acoustic & Ballad instrumental, 3:33 long. It was created in Octa from one short text description: the arrangement, instruments, mix and cover art were all generated from that idea, then published by @dashindoor710 to the Octa community in September 2026.
Everything serves the voice: a fingerpicked or strummed guitar, maybe a piano, room-sized reverb and dynamics that swell into the chorus without adding instruments.
The prompt behind it
“Acoustic Ballad, A bittersweet, melancholic story about finding an unsent love letter tucked inside a thrifted coat and grieving a stranger's forgotten connection.”
