About this track

How this edm & electronic song was made.

“Retla hlola” is an AI-generated EDM & Electronic song with vocals, 4:26 long. It was created in Octa from one short text description: the lyrics, melody, vocal performance, arrangement and mix were all generated from that idea, then published by @malelusimon to the Octa community in July 2026.

The arrangement is built around a build and a drop: filtered synths and a rising sweep, then the kick and bass land together and the whole room opens. The lyrics on this page are the exact words the AI wrote and sang for this track.

The prompt behind it

“An energetic yet soulful Amapiano dance track at 112 BPM. Driven by signature deep, punchy log drum basslines, warm jazz-infused piano chords, and crisp, polyrhythmic shaker loops. Ambient synth pads and subtle vocal chops add an atmospheric, late-night club vibe. Lush, layered, and irresistibly groovy for the dance floor., Classical, Energetic, Relaxing, Bass”
