You Should've Known Better
How this country track was made.
“You Should've Known Better” is an AI-generated Country instrumental, 3:19 long. It was created in Octa from one short text description: the arrangement, instruments, mix and cover art were all generated from that idea, then published by @hosler92lec to the Octa community in September 2026.
Storytelling comes first: clear words, an acoustic guitar or pedal steel under the voice, and a chorus that says the title so you can sing it back.
The prompt behind it
“Modern Country, A sophisticated modern country song about a woman refusing to take back a cheating ex, dissecting the psychology of his sudden regret versus genuine transformation, grounded in lessons of respect from her father.”
