Lyrics

Every word, written by AI.

Chorus
You said you just wanna be my friend
And I said that I could do that
But there's a thousand things I feel
That I don't know where to put back
'Cause you can talk to me like always
Like there's nothing left to mend
But I'm trying to forget the future
I imagined in my head
And I won't make you feel guilty
For a heart you couldn't give
I just wish that I could turn off
All the ways I still feel this
Yeah, I'll smile when you message
I'll be there when you need a friend
I'm just learning how to lose you
Without losing you again

About this track

How this rap & hip-hop song was made.

“Learning How to Lose You” is an AI-generated Rap & Hip-Hop song with vocals, 2:04 long. It was created in Octa from one short text description: the lyrics, melody, vocal performance, arrangement and mix were all generated from that idea, then published by @dpotter121008 to the Octa community in October 2026.

The vocal sits right on top of the beat and the words do the work; notice how the hook comes back word for word so it sticks after one listen. The lyrics on this page are the exact words the AI wrote and sang for this track.

The prompt behind it

“Keep everything identical, only update lyrics, melodic rap, emo rap, alternative r&b, minimalist, intimate, downtempo, conversational melodic rap vocal, emotionally raw, warm keys, sparse 808”
