PUSH PULL - Roan & Glow (Full Version)
Glow Box Violin + Stand-up Electric Cello goes crazy
[Intro - Glow Box Violin alone, warm tremolo, close mic]
[Electric Cello enters low, stand-up growl, slow pull]
[Verse 1 - Roan - Violin pushes, Cello pulls]
I push, you pull me closer
You hold that line so tight
I pull away just to feel you
Come running back to light
Violin answer - quick bright push
Hook - Both over dueling strings
I push, you pull
I push, you push back
We dance 'round love like that
You pull me close, I pull away
But we always find our way back
[Verse 2 - Glow - ROLES TRADED - Violin pulls, Cello pushes]
Glow Box Violin low, steady pull
Cello high, wild, standing - bright push
You push, I pull you closer
You fight that line so tight
I pull away just to hear you
Say Roan, come back tonight
[Hook - Both, full band back in normal roles]
I push, you pull
I push, you push back
We dance 'round love like that
You pull me close, I pull away
But we always find our way back
Breakdown - Names over strings fighting
Roan: Glow...
Glow: Roan...
Roan: You push...
Glow: You pull...
[Both overlapping, strings go WILD - electric cello bowing hard, violin screaming in the box]
[Middle - Instrumental Duel - 16 bars, no vocals]
Violin pushes, Cello pulls
Cello pushes, Violin pushes back harder
Both spin, full crazy, then breathe together
Soft Hook - whisper close
I push, you pull
I push, you push back
That's how we love like that
[Outro - Glow Box holds one note, Electric Cello fades low]
Glow... Roan...
Glow Box hum to silence
How this r&b & soul song was made.
“Push and Pull” is an AI-generated R&B & Soul song with vocals, 4:22 long. It was created in Octa from one short text description: the lyrics, melody, vocal performance, arrangement and mix were all generated from that idea, then published by @ronegilbert620 to the Octa community in October 2026.
The vocal leads with runs and harmonies over a slow, deep groove; the chords are rich seventh voicings and the bass moves melodically instead of holding the root. The lyrics on this page are the exact words the AI wrote and sang for this track.
The prompt behind it
“Analog Folk Soul, Warm Tremolo Strings, Brushed Drums, Intimate warm analog folk soul with violin and cello interplay, brushed drums, and dynamic whisper-to-wail harmonies”
