Intro

Verse 1
You're looking at me with that tired face
Saying I don't even try to hold this place
Well, I heard every single thing you said
And I've been carrying it around in my head
You say love was never meant to feel this fought
But the hurt means we still care a lot

Pre-Chorus
If I wanted out I'd be gone by now
But I'm still here, still standing for it all

Chorus
Baby, I'm not going anywhere
No, I'm not walking away from you
Tell me that you're still mine
Say it again and we'll be fine
I'll keep on holding open the door
Stay and fight for us, don't go anymore

Verse 2
You said I turn my back when we're in bed
And you were right, I'm sorry for what I said
You said maybe it's time we move on
But I could never stand to see you gone
So come here, let me hold you tight
We'll work it out together tonight

Pre-Chorus
If I wanted out I'd be gone by now
But I'm still here, still standing for it all

Instrumental Break

Outro
I'm here, I'm here, I'm gonna stay
And love you just the same another day

About this track

How this edm & electronic song was made.

“Stay” is an AI-generated EDM & Electronic song with vocals, 4:02 long. It was created in Octa from one short text description: the lyrics, melody, vocal performance, arrangement and mix were all generated from that idea, then published by @monsieur to the Octa community in November 2026.

The arrangement is built around a build and a drop: filtered synths and a rising sweep, then the kick and bass land together and the whole room opens. The lyrics on this page are the exact words the AI wrote and sang for this track.

The prompt behind it

“R&B, contemporary slow jam, smooth warm electric piano, soft vintage Rhodes-type keys, warm analog synth pads, laid-back groove, soft drum machine kick and snare, subtle round bass guitar, lush layered backing harmonies, intimate lead vocal, breathy warm delivery, romantic and tender mood, warm intimate atmosphere, gentle finger snaps, lush plate reverb, polished close-mic mix, relaxed slow tempo feel, 80 BPM”
