888 x MNTS OF MDNSS
Every word, written by AI.
[Instrument: Real Turntables - two Technics 1200s, live vinyl manipulation, not synth]
[Turntable: forward spin clean, reverse drag, needle skip stutter x3, platter slip struggle, both decks locked phase, dead stop lift]
[No fake scratch, no MIDI scratch, no synth turntable]
[Verse - incoming signal, clean forward 33RPM]
Take it from future, sending back through stone
Descent - slow drag reverse -8%
Deep and past, where the ice has never thawed
Struggle - needle skip stutter
Retrieve what they buried, what they left to die
Slip - identity - platter slip
Self — slipping — whose hand is on the platter?
Lock - both decks in phase
Humanity hears it now, all at once, all in phase
Dead stop - needle lift - silence
We got it.
We shouldn't have.
[Outro - vinyl runout groove, ice wind, distant signal]
We got it...
How this rap & hip-hop song was made.
“888 x MNTS OF MDNSS” is an AI-generated Rap & Hip-Hop song with vocals, 1:41 long. It was created in Octa from one short text description: the lyrics, melody, vocal performance, arrangement and mix were all generated from that idea, then published by @ronegilbert620 to the Octa community in October 2026.
The vocal sits right on top of the beat and the words do the work; notice how the hook comes back word for word so it sticks after one listen. The lyrics on this page are the exact words the AI wrote and sang for this track.
The prompt behind it
“Turntablism, dark experimental hip hop, horror soundscape, half-time, Hypnotic Antarctic horror found transmission where deck manipulation physically answers the dialogue, punctuated by authentic vinyl scratches, skips, and cracking ice foley over heavy sub bass”
