About this track

How this rap & hip-hop track was made.

“darkness at the door ” is an AI-generated Rap & Hip-Hop instrumental, 2:34 long. It was created in Octa from one short text description: the arrangement, instruments, mix and cover art were all generated from that idea, then published by @ZiGzAgTheArtisT to the Octa community in July 2026.

The vocal sits right on top of the beat and the words do the work; notice how the hook comes back word for word so it sticks after one listen.

The prompt behind it

“New Orleans haunting hip hop, melodic build up, creepy trombone, Darkness at my door... there Darkness at the door, Hip Hop, Jazz, Energetic, Dark”
