How this rap & hip-hop track was made.
“Dope Beat” is an AI-generated Rap & Hip-Hop instrumental, 3:03 long. It was created in Octa from one short text description: the arrangement, instruments, mix and cover art were all generated from that idea, then published by @damianJump to the Octa community in October 2026.
The vocal sits right on top of the beat and the words do the work; notice how the hook comes back word for word so it sticks after one listen.
The prompt behind it
“dark melodic street rap, hip-hop, boom bap, atmospheric, Smooth, hypnotic dark melodic street rap instrumental with a raw gutter-street atmosphere, haunting piano, eerie synths, soulful minor-key melodies, gritty muted guitar, deep 808 bass, punchy drums, extended intro and long outro, leaving space for aggressive multisyllabic rapping.”
