Yolo

“Yolo” is an AI-generated R&B & Soul song with vocals, 2:24 long. It was created in Octa from one short text description: the lyrics, melody, vocal performance, arrangement and mix were all generated from that idea, then published by @ScottTravis to the Octa community in August 2026.

The vocal leads with runs and harmonies over a slow, deep groove; the chords are rich seventh voicings and the bass moves melodically instead of holding the root. The lyrics on this page are the exact words the AI wrote and sang for this track.

The prompt behind it

“Let’s make a love ballad R&B song. I want group snaps and claps throughout the whole song. Soft drums, soft church organ, 70’s “movie” wah guitar in the chorus and sliding metal guitar screams, maracas and classical guitar, and an orchestra that mimics the melody. I want a Baptist Choir doing the background vocals; randomly in appropriate places.”
